Willow Hare Sculpture Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - April 2026

The weather was amazing today - just perfect for our willow hare sculpture weavers to make use of the gardens and spread out for their experience tutored by our talented basketmaker & willow weaver guest tutor, Karen Bek.


The experience was held in our dedicated outdoor covered workshop space in the lovely open air and surrounded by the Blended Monkey gardens.


Karen guided everyone through all the techniques needed to construct their beautiful quirky hare sculptures - each one looks so different!


We kept the refreshments flowing throughout the experience and provided a lovely lunch, catering to our gluten-free students too, and with all the bakes (vegan brownies, cookies, "sausage" rolls and scrummy cheese scones) provided by the wonderful Fanoggins Bakery.

It was such a relaxed environment, sat in the beautiful garden, with a wonderful lunch as well.
