Willow Sculpture Swifts Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - August 2026

We've had a whole weekend of willow weaving here in the Blended Monkey Studios & Gardens. After yesterday's full-day ducks & piglets sculptures, today we have two half-day experiences. This afternoon's weaving session focussed on creating a trio (or more) of beautiful swifts!

The group were accommodated in our dedicated outdoor covered workshop space set in the Blended Monkey gardens, affording plenty of shade and a lovely breeze. Our guest tutor, talented basketmaker & willow weaver, Karen Bek, guided our group through all the processes and techniques required to make their lovely swifts in various sizes!

Each one is completely unique.

We kept the refreshments flowing throughout the experience, catering to our gluten-free students too.
