Large Loose Florals Acrylic Painting Experience in our Blended Monkey Studios & Gardens - August 2026

Today's lovely group of students created some stunning artworks in our large loose florals acrylic painting experience taught by guest tutor, artist, Sarah Heather.


We greeted everyone with a smile and our usual Fanoggins refreshments. Sarah guided the group through a variety of processes to help create some gorgeous loose and open pieces of work. The day was relaxing and freeing, and the students were able to take inspiration from our Blended Monkey gardens too.

We're super impressed with everyone's achievements. Each student has created their own wonderfully unique and individual piece of art!

The weather was good to us - not too hot and not too cold - and our students enjoyed the large covered workspace set against the backdrop of our Blended Monkey gardens.

We kept the refreshments flowing throughout the day and provided a lovely lunch, with all the bakes (brownies, shortbread, cookies, "no sausage" rolls, scrummy cheese scones) provided by the fabulous Fanoggins Bakery.


Sarah is going to be relocating abroad next year, so I don't think she'll be tutoring with us again - which is a big shame.

It was the perfect creative retreat day; the tutoring was excellent and Simon and Louise were wonderful hosts throughout the day and provided a delicious lunch too.  It was great to meet and talk to the other participants during the session, such a friendly and creative group of people!
