Large Loose Florals Acrylic & Mixed Media Painting Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - September 2025

Today's fab group of students created some beautiful pieces in our large loose florals acrylic & mixed media painting experience with guest tutor, Sarah Heather.


Everyone was greeted with a smile and refreshments. Sarah guided the group through a variety of processes to help create lovely loose and open pieces of work. The day was relaxing and freeing, and the students were able to take inspiration from our Blended Monkey gardens too; using leaves to create some interesting effects.

We're super impressed with everyone's achievements, with each participant creating their own wonderfully unique and individual pieces of art!

The weather was sunny for the most part, with the odd downpour here and there - but our students remained dry in our large outdoor covered studio - the perfect setting against the backdrop of our Blended Monkey gardens.

We kept the refreshments flowing throughout the day and provided a lovely lunch, with all the bakes (brownies, cookies, "sausage" rolls and scrummy cheese scones) provided by the wonderful Fanoggins Bakery, and we offered gluten-free alternatives to meet our students' needs.
