Basket Weaving Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - July 2025

I'm amazed at the beautiful work achieved by all the students who attended our wonderful basket weaving experience today, tutored by the brilliantly talented Karen Bek.

The experience was held in our dedicated outdoor covered workshop space; sheltered from the rain but in the lovely open air and surrounded by the Blended Monkey gardens.

Karen guided everyone through all the techniques required to construct their large flat baskets - and it's interesting to see how different they all look too.

We kept the refreshments flowing throughout the experience and provided a lovely lunch, with all the bakes (vegan brownies, cookies, "sausage" rolls and scrummy cheese scones) provided by the wonderful Fanoggins Bakery.
