“Wow! What a day! As a complete beginner at stone carving I’m amazed that I was able to take home a piece that I will be proud to put on display. Mark our tutor was a wealth of knowledge and made sure we all had enough time with him to turn out some really lovely work.

Simon and Louise hosted a fantastic day with plentiful cups of tea etc and delicious bakes to keep our energy up as well as a lovely lunch. I only wish I’d discovered Blended Monkey sooner as there’s a lot more courses I want to do! Highly recommended ♥️”.

“Many thanks for an excellent day stone carving yesterday. Great tutor, lovely setting, lovely people to work with and absolutely fab hospitality from Louise and Simon. The homemade cakes, biscuits, and scones were a very welcome and an excellent surprise. Perfect day completed by bringing my finished carved twinkle star home!! (And we were so lucky with the weather, even some sunshine…..).”

“This was my first stone carving workshop at Blended Monkey with tutor Mark Evans, and it was a brilliant day. Mark’s guidance is clear, patient and encouraging, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

Louise and Simon are wonderful hosts. They look after everyone so thoughtfully, with plenty of tea, biscuits and homemade cakes throughout the day, along with a really tasty lunch.

I left feeling proud of what I’d created and grateful for such an enjoyable experience. I’ll always treasure the stone carving I brought home. A heartfelt thank you to Mark, Louise and Simon for a memorable day.”
