Half-Day Clay Blossom Tile Sculpture Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - April 2026
This morning's half-day clay sculpture experience with our small group creating beautiful blossoms was a great success. Our guest tutor, Christine Pike, expertly guided the participants through each step so they could gradually build up their flowers, petal by petal.
We kept the teas and coffees topped up, and provided home-baked chocolate brownies & shortbread - courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery. Each student has created their own unique flower tile, and completed a glaze sheet to let me know what colours they would like to have on their creations.
The tiles will now be left to dry completely, biscuit fired, provided with the requested coloured glazes, and then high fired.
