Woodcraft Equipment Plans from
Having attended one of our green woodworking or spoon carving experiences here in the Blended Monkey Studios or at other venues where we teach, you might have got the bug and now want to build your own woodcraft equipment so you can continue the craft at home.
Simon's put together "how to make" plans for the Spindle Pole Lathe, the Folding Bench, the Dumb Head Shave Horse and the Spoon Mule.
The bench will be required in order to use the dumb head shave horse or the spoon mule, as these elements slot into the bench.
Add the plans you'd like to receive to the shopping basket, and we'll follow up with an email containing the plans in PDF format.
We teach green woodworking and spoon carving as 1-2-1 or pairs experiences, or you can book on to one of our small-group workshops here or at other venues - various dates throughout the year.
We have also launched a spoon carving evening course that will be taking place over 4 weeks starting 2 March 2027. Here's the link for info:

The group green woodworking workshops are suitable for everyone and we can accommodate children from 10+ accompanied by an adult (but we tend to not offer the axe cutting part to under 16s).
You can also contact us if you'd like to have a private small-group green woodworking or spoon carving experience - perfect for family or friend celebrations.
All of these workshops include refreshments throughout and also a lovely lunch!
