Today's half-day Powertex sculpting workshop taught by our lovely guest tutors, Sue & Lynda from Fen Mill Crafts, was a tranquil, relaxing and creative affair.

The weather was glorious and so we hosted this wonderful workshop in our outdoor covered studio in our Blended Monkey gardens against a sound backdrop of the water splashing in the pond and the birds singing in the trees.

Despite using exactly the same Powertex materials & putty, each student produced something completely unique. This is such a fascinating medium. The textures and colours that can be achieved are stunning.

We kept the ladies fuelled with iced water, teas & coffees, and home-baked brownies & shortbread (courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery).

The photos here provide a good insight into the various processes - check out all the fabulous colours you can use to dry brush onto the textures!

Our next Powertex sculpting experience with Sue & Lynda is a full-day workshop on
