Powertex Fish Sculpture Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - November 2025

Today's full-day Powertex fish sculpture experience taught by our lovely guest tutor, Lynda, from Fen Mill Crafts, was a very creative and relaxing experience.

Lynda expertly guided our students through all the techniques needed to create their beautiful sculptures from scratch using a variety of Powertex materials & processes.

I took lots of photos at various stages of the transformations, and we kept the ladies fuelled with teas, coffees & home-baked chocolate brownies (courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery) and provided a lovely lunch showcasing more of the fabulous Fanoggins Bakery treats.

The photos here provide a great insight into the various techniques - check out the vibrant colours of the pigments used to dry brush onto the textures!
