Half-Day Highland Cow Clay Sculpture Experience in the Blended Monkey Studios & Gardens - September 2026
This morning's half-day clay sculpture experience with our small group creating fabulous Highland Cows was a great success - in fact it was "moo"valous!
Our very talented guest tutor, sculptor and artist Aimee, expertly guided the group through each step so they could gradually create their unique Highland Cows using the pinch pot method as a foundation.
We kept refreshments flowing and provided the students with creativity-fuelling home-baked coconut cookies (courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery).
Using a variety of methods to add marks and texture, each of the group has created an individual Highland Cow of which to be proud.
The Highland Cows will now be left to dry completely, then biscuit fired, provided with the characteristic red-coloured glaze, and then high fired.
Aimee will be teaching lots of wonderful clay sculpture workshops next year. The first being:

Highland Cow (half day) - Saturday 13 February
