Half-Day Clay Blossom Tile Sculpture Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - September 2025

This afternoon's half-day clay sculpture experience had our group creating beautiful blossoms! Our guest tutor, Christine Pike, expertly guided the ladies through each step so they could gradually build up their flowers, petal by petal.

I kept the teas and coffees topped up, and provided home-baked coconut cookies & chocolate brownies - courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery. Each student created their own unique flower tiles, and completed a glaze sheet to let me know what colours they would like to have on their creations.

The tiles will now be left to dry completely, biscuit fired, provided with the requested coloured glazes, and then high fired.
