Ceramic Christmas Decorations Workshop in our Blended Monkey Studios & Gardens - October 2026

Yesterday evening's ceramic Christmas decorations mini workshop in our cosy Blended Monkey Crafts Studio was great fun. I had a really lovely group of students who let their creative juices run wild; making all sorts of Christmas decs from their own slab of stoneware clay. We even had some little trinket dishes appear.

Provided with plenty of stamps, cutters, mark-making equipment and the instructions to just have fun and enjoy this mindful session, I am so very impressed with the variety of lovely decorations that have been made.


This 2-hour experience included lots of refreshments - we also broke out the mulled wine to get ourselves in the festive spirit - and wonderfully tasty chocolate orange shortbread and Nutella brownies, courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery.


Everything will now be allowed to dry very slowly before being bisque fired in the kiln at 900°C. The students will then collect their decorations and have fun decorating them at home as they wish in the run-up to Christmas.
