Block Printing Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - March 2026

We had a lovely group of students attend today's block printing experience with our fabulous guest tutor, Sue Welfare. Everyone evidently had a great day, with each student creating the most beautiful block-printed gift wrap, papers, tea towels, bags and make-up bags. Wow! I'm really impressed with the results.


The weather was fab so Sue created and indoor and an outdoor workshop experience, making maximum use of our Blended Monkey gardens. Sue expertly guided everyone through all the stages of block printing. Sue really enjoys what she does and is a natural teacher; with students feeding from her enthusiasm for the craft.


In addition to the huge array of wonderful wooden blocks for the students to use, Sue also provided blank tea towels, Tote bags, make-up bags and paper for gift wrap.

We kept the refreshments flowing; I took heaps of photos and videos, and we provided a lovely lunch for this creative bunch - with all the bakes (vegan brownies, shortbread, cookies, "no sausage" rolls, scrummy cheese scones and grazing boards) provided by the wonderful Fanoggins Bakery.
