2-PERSON PRIVATE STONE CARVING EXPERIENCE - ROMAN LETTERS or HEARTS IN STONE

Date to Suit

£420 including refreshments throughout & lunch (catering to all dietary requirements), materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.

This one-day private experience with our guest stone mason, Mark Evans, will offer a simple introduction to stone as a material and to the special chisels used in letter carving.

Mark will then teach you how to draw out your capital Roman letters and carve them into an approx. 10-inch square piece of Portland limestone using a traditional dummy hammer and letter carving chisels.

Alternatively, you can choose to carve beautiful relief hearts.

The perfect, unique couple's gift - carving your own pieces with your own hands - beautiful artworks and memories that will last forever.

This STONE CARVING EXPERIENCE for 2 is held in a dedicated covered, outside space in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey Studios located in lovely cottage gardens.

This full-day private experience includes refreshments throughout, materials, use of all the equipment, lunch and a certificate of achievement.

About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and a light, rustic farmhouse-style lunch is also included - tailored to meet all dietary requirements. Depending on the weather/time of year, lunch can be taken either out in the cottage garden or in our country kitchen which has a view over the garden.

We also offer accommodation in the form of our Crafter's Retreat cabin subject to availability (www.craftersretreat.co.uk) or we can advise of other local B&Bs.
