Silk glasses case that has been painted in a unique leaf design

Silk Painting - Glasses Case | Blended Monkey Studios | Fri 15 May

£35.00Price

Friday 15 May 5.45 pm - 8.00 pm

£40 including tea, coffee & home-baked refreshments throughout, materials, use of equipment on the day & tutoring.

Suitable for children 14+ accompanied by an adult.

Learn how to decorate a silk glasses case with any design of your choice (inspiration provided).

In this relaxing and therapeutic small-group silk painting experience, you'll discover how to apply your design to the silk using a fade pen, and apply metallic gutta contouring medium to provide outlines.

Once the gutta has dried a little, you'll learn how to mix various colours to create your very own palette and how to apply the paint to the silk.

Once painted, we'll heat-fix your case so it's ready for you to take home and use.

The whole procedure will be explained from start to finish by Louise who has been silk painting for over 25 years. The small group means that everyone will have plenty of 1-2-1 tuition where necessary.

The workshop is taking place in the pretty Crafts Studio at Blended Monkey in Upwell (Cambridgeshire / Norfolk border).

Home-baked refreshments will be provided.

This would make a fabulous CRAFTY GIFT for someone - so drop us a line and we can post out to you/the recipient a complimentary personalised gift certificate for this experience🎁
