This stoneware bowl has been thrown on the wheel and then decorated with a graded blue glaze and punctured areas to represent seaspray.
This could be used for sweets, as a votive/candle holder, or for holding oddments.

Louise uses a variety of stoneware and porcelain clays for her pieces. All the utilitarian pieces you see on this site are food-safe and can be used in the dishwasher, oven and refrigerator, but it's best not to use them in the microwave as some of the glazes contain oxides.
