Seahorse Sculpture - Powertex | Blended Monkey Studios | 15 November 202
LARGE SEAHORSE SCULPTURE WITH POWERTEX WORKSHOP
Saturday 5 December 9.45 am – 6.00 pm
£95.00 including refreshments, lunch, all materials, use of equipment on the day and tutoring.
This full-day group workshop with our guest tutors, Lynne & Sue from Fen Mill Crafts, is suitable for all skill levels.
Create a beautiful approx. 55 cm tall and 25 cm wide seahorse sculpture using Powertex and your own unique flair.
Powertex is a mixed media product which is liquid in its natural state and can be used as a paint, glue and fabric hardener.
In this workshop, Sue and Lynda will take you step by step through the process of creating the seahorse's body using Powertex and fabrics. You will then use Paperdec to create the floaty fins and the crown.
Seashells and amorites can be added for decoration using stone art. Finally, the colour is added.
Gloves and aprons are also provided, as Powertex is liquid in its natural state, but once on your clothing it is there to stay. With this in mind, it is advisable to wear old clothing.
This LARGE SEAHORSE SCULPTURE WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This Powertex sculpture workshop is suitable for 16+.
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
This would make a fabulous CRAFTY GIFT for someone - so drop us a line and we can post out to you/the recipient a complimentary personalised gift certificate for this experience🎁
The full-day workshop includes:
- Materials & use of equipment on the day
- Refreshments (tea/coffee/soft drinks/cake) & lunch - catering to all dietary requirements
- As we limit the number of people, you get to have some 1-2-1 tuition and the maximum benefit from a day with no distractions
We also offer accommodation in the form of our Crafter's Retreat cabin subject to availability or we can advise of other local B&Bs.
