This stoneware pot has been thrown on the wheel and then decorated in red & ochre glazes which have produced an interesting seam of blue around the top of the pot.

Louise uses a variety of stoneware and porcelain clays for her pieces. All the utilitarian pieces you see on this site are food-safe and can be used in the dishwasher, oven and refrigerator, but it's best not to use them in the microwave as some of the glazes contain oxides.
