This stoneware votive has been thrown on the wheel and features a hand-carved bubble design; with some of the bubbles carved out completely to allow the candle light to show through.
The glaze includes amber, blue and yellow mottling; giving it a distinctive and unique appearance.

Louise uses a variety of stoneware and porcelain clays for her pieces. All the utilitarian pieces you see on this site are food-safe and can be used in the dishwasher, oven and refrigerator, but it's best not to use them in the microwave as some of the glazes contain oxides.
