LARGE FISH SCULPTURE WITH POWERTEX WORKSHOP
 
Saturday 15 November 9.45 am – 6.00 pm

£110.00 including refreshments, lunch, all materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.
 
This full-day group workshop with our guest tutors, Lynne & Sue from Fen Mill Crafts, is suitable for all skill levels. 
 
Create a beautiful approx. 35 cm long fish sculpture using Powertex.
 
Powertex is a mixed media product which is liquid in its natural state and can be used as a paint, glue and fabric hardener.
 
In this workshop, Sue and Lynda will take you step by step through the process of creating the fish`s body and adding the stone art to give it texture. You will be adding wire for the tail and fins which will have paper dec added to it.
The fish will then be coloured using a liquid pigment called power colour.
 
Gloves and aprons are also provided, as Powertex is liquid in its natural state, but once on your clothing it is there to stay. With this in mind, it is advisable to wear old clothing.
 
This LARGE FISH SCULPTURE WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border. 
 
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition. 
 
This Powertex sculpture workshop is suitable for 16+. 
 
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
 
All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.

The full-day workshop includes:

We also offer accommodation in the form of our Crafter's Retreat cabin subject to availability or we can advise of other local B&Bs.

  • Booking, Cancellation & Refund Terms & Conditions

    • The purchaser of the workshop may cancel the workshop up to 2 weeks before the workshop date with a full refund.

    • If we need to cancel a workshop at short notice for reasons beyond our control, such as illness or mechanical breakdowns, the first option is to rearrange a mutually convenient date or receive a refund. In the event of cancellation for any reason, we are unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses that you may incur in relation to the cancelled course.
