COPPER JEWELLERY WORKSHOP - CREATE A BEAUTIFUL COPPER WIRE BANGLE
Saturday 23 January 10.00 am - 1.00 pm OR 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm
£65 including refreshments, materials, use of equipment on the day and tutoring.
This half-day group workshop with our guest tutor, Alan Payne, is suitable for all skill levels.
You'll be using 100% recycled pure thin copper which is easy to work.
You'll be shown a number of different techniques and the various stages of working with copper.
Enjoy learning how to:
- bend and weave/plait the wire
- sand and smooth the wire
- hammer and work harden the bangle to shape
- trim and hard solder the ends using a blowtorch
- file to shape, sand and polish to a bright finish before you
- bend the bangle to the desired shape.
Alan will bring examples of his work to inspire you and he will be on hand to provide assistance where needed. Reasonable hand and grip strength is required.
All materials are provided.
Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy or bring along an apron.
This COPPER BANGLE workshop will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This relaxing workshop is suitable for 18+.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the session - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
