Suitable for 16+ and beginners - NO DRAWING EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
 
Join Tamara, our guest artist, for a 4-EVENING DRAWING COURSE OVER 4 WEEKS.
 
This course is being held every Friday evening from 18 September to 9 October. The group size is a maximum of 6 people; ensuring everyone gets plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
 
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who wish to elevate their drawing skills.
 
The course will look as follows:
 
Week 1 - Friday 18 September
Tamara will cover the very basics of drawing such as layering, blending and burnishing, and you'll learn to draw a realistic plum.
 
Weeks 2, 3 and 4 - Friday 25 September, Friday 2 October and Friday 9 October
Across these sessions you'll discover how to draw a realistic hare. This will be approximately 4 x 7 inches and will build on the basics using additional techniques such as negative spaces. Anyone completing this project can move on to drawing realistic cherries.
 
Tamara will draw along with you to demonstrate and give as much 1-2-1 tuition as needed.
 
All materials will be provided for use throughout the course.
 
For the hare, Tamara will also give you a handout with a photo and guide to show you where to apply your various colours and a brief explanation of the techniques used.
You will also be given a list of pencils used and stockists in case you get the drawing bug!
 
The course will take place in the Blended Monkey Studios in either the small-group studio or outside in the covered workspace. The studios are situated in our pretty 1.2-acre gardens which you can enjoy during your break. 
 
Refreshments are included during each session, tailored to suit any dietary requirements or allergies.
 
The 4-week course costs £180.00 and includes
