Join Tamara, our guest tutor artist, for a few hours of colour, creativity and fun in our WATERCOLOUR & PEN WORKSHOP.

 

This workshop is being held on the morning of Saturday 16 May 10.00 am - 1.00 pm.

The group size is a maximum of 6 people; ensuring everyone gets plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.

 

This workshop is suitable for beginners. You don't need to be able to draw or paint!

 

In this relaxed and playful workshop, we’ll begin by creating a beautiful, splashy watercolour background using colours of your own choice. Once dry, we’ll let our imaginations take over as we layer doodles, patterns and little details over the top using pens.


There are no rules, no right or wrong way to do things and absolutely no drawing experience needed!


You’ll be encouraged to experiment, play with colour, explore different marks and discover just how effective simple doodles can be when combined with watercolour.


Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who simply wants to try something a little different, this workshop is all about enjoying the process rather than worrying about the finished result.

Expect a lovely, friendly atmosphere, plenty of inspiration, a few laughs and the opportunity to meet like-minded creative people.

The workshop will take place in the Blended Monkey Studios & Gardens in our small-group studio. The studios are situated in our pretty 1.2-acre gardens which you can enjoy during your break. 

 

Refreshments are included during each session, tailored to suit any dietary requirements or allergies.

    • If we need to cancel a workshop at short notice for reasons beyond our control, such as illness or mechanical breakdowns, the first option is to rearrange a mutually convenient date or receive a refund. In the event of cancellation for any reason, we are unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses that you may incur in relation to the cancelled course.
