Providing a demonstration and interactive experience for the residents at the Waterhouse Manor Care Home in Fordham

It was lovely to be invited back to the Waterhouse Manor Care Home in Fordham last week to give a woodturning demonstration & offer a "have a go session" for the residents and staff.

Everyone enjoyed watching Simon demonstrate making a honey spoon, and having a go at woodturning themselves - it was lovely to see how the residents were thoroughly absorbed by the process; with some remembering using similar tools themselves in the past.  

We enjoyed offering this hands-on experience.
