Large Hare Sculpture Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - June 2025

We had a lovely group of students attend our large hare sculpture experience, tutored by the talented Christine Pike. I kept popping in to take photos of the progress throughout the day, and we now have a gorgeous group of hares all with different expressions and characters!

Simon and I kept the group fuelled with plenty of refreshments and also a lovely lunch, with tasty bakes (brownies, cheese scones & large choc-chip cookies) provided by the fabulous Fanoggins Bakery - https://www.instagram.com/fanogginscrafts/

These cute hares are now being left to dry out thoroughly in my studio before they are bisque fired, glazed in the colours chosen by their makers, and then finally high fired.

I'll post piccies of the creations when they emerge from the kiln.

We have a number of group clay sculpture workshops scheduled throughout the year, from blossom tiles through to green men, there's something for everyone.
