Half-Day Clay Bird Sculpture Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - September 2025

This morning's half-day clay sculpture experience focussed on creating a small bird sculpture sitting on a log. Everyone was expertly guided through each step by our guest tutor, Christine Pike.

Fuelled with teas, coffees and plenty of home-baked coconut cookies & chocolate brownies - courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery -, each of our students created their own lovely, unique bird sculptures. These will now be left to dry completely, biscuit fired and then provided with a black glaze to show up all the features and texture before being glaze fired.

Christine will be joining us for further clay sculpture workshops next year, so keep an eye out on our website and socials for details!

!I went on a half day clay sculpture experience and thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. We were greeted by Louise and taken through the amazing garden into the craft room.
