Gel Plate Printing Experience at our Blended Monkey Studios - December 2025

This morning's gel plate printing workshop taught by our fabulous guest tutor, Helen Thomas, was a very creative and festive experience, with each student making beautiful prints using some of the varied items brought along by Helen and also some of the leaves and foliage found in our Blended Monkey gardens.

The group then used their prints to create wonderful Christmas cards!


We kept everyone fuelled with teas, coffees & home-baked brownies (courtesy of Fanoggins Bakery).


The photos here provide a good insight into the experience - it's an interesting process and amazing what patterns can be achieved using household items, feathers, botanicals, bubble wrap ... and such gorgeous textures and colours!
