EVENING WOODTURNING DEMONSTRATION AT THE KINGS LYNN WOODTURNERS CLUB - March 2026

I was invited to demonstrate at The Kings Lynn Woodturners Club last night.

Louise and I received a warm welcome from the group which is quite sizeable compared to some other clubs.

I chose to demo my off-centred candlestick. This type of eccentric woodturning involves turning both on a centred axis as well as several angled (off-centred) axes to create the wave effects you see in the final photo here.

Members of the club were able to ask questions and I'll be emailing my notes to the secretary. That way, members can then try turning the projects themselves. It's important to share ideas and projects so that others can learn from them and be inspired to create their own designs.

I'd like to thank the group for their warm welcome.
