ECCENTRIC WOODTURNING DEMONSTRATION AT THE WHERRY WOODTURNERS CLUB - September 2025

I was invited to demonstrate at The Wherry Woodturners last Wednesday. Louise and I received a warm welcome from David, the chairperson, and others at the club.

I demonstrated how to turn a box with an off-centered top and fitted lid - eccentric woodturning. This is a popular demonstration and a little different to turning a bowl, which can be a little boring to watch (let alone demonstrate :-)).

Members of the club were able to ask questions. I always like to offer notes to go along with my demonstrations. That way, members can then try turning the projects themselves. It's important to share ideas and projects so that others can learn from them and be inspired to create their own designs.
