This set of four handmade tiles is made from stoneware clay and decorated using the scraffito technique. It has then been provided with various blue and white underglazes and designs to create our Seascape motif. The back of each tile is grooved to help adhesion if they are being attached to a surface.
Each one is approx. 90 mm x 90 mm square and 10 mm thick.

Louise uses a variety of stoneware and porcelain clays for her pieces. All the utilitarian pieces you see on this site are food-safe and can be used in the dishwasher, oven and refrigerator, but it's best not to use them in the microwave as some of the glazes contain oxides.
